Do you know how to multiply? Do you think you can figure out a mystery multiplication sum with just a few clues? Do you think you can do it better than everybody else?
Multiplication Strikeout is just like hangman, but with numbers. If you like cryptarithms, there's a good chance you'll also like Multiplication Strikeout.
First, choose the size of the numbers in the puzzle - can you handle three-digit multiplication? Or do you want to start with single digits to warm up your mental muscles?
Then, the multiplication problem appears - all solved, but with blank squares where the numbers should be!! Then, it's your turn to guess the digits in product. Each wrong guess, and you get a strike. Can you get it with no strikes at all?
Calculators are allowed, unless your teacher says they are not.
The computer will keep track of how well you do on each level of puzzle - it will even remember how well you did next time you come back to play the game. You can also compare your stats with the rest of the world, to see if you are doing better!
